Dude, you know, I totally agree. I do that too though, more than I would care to admit, but more because I want to emphasise pauses. Still, it drives me nuts when I do it just as much as it drives me nuts when other people do it. SUCK.

I DID! I SUCKED! NOOOO! Hahaha! I agree, its ok occasionally, but its just when it gets, I dunno, excessive that its terrible.

And I meant for the suck to be more like a "THAT SUCKS". I tend to just write one word where there should be two XD.

AND DUDE. UGH. RENT is to me an insult to La Vie Boheme, which is actually a beautiful opera which RENT RAPED. RAPED I say. I also have a problem in a big way with the glamourization of starving, poverty stricken artists...I've been there, it isn't fun, its nothing like they portray it, and it is my life goal to work at doing something creative, but no, because according to RENT, doing something you love and getting paid for it is selling out. I mean, WTF right?

I do like some songs, though, even though they make no sense XD.

Yeah, Broadway in general is NOT my thing, and I saw the original opera when I was out with my mom, and it was so much better. At least I didn't puke during it. And the clothes were prettier.

Anyway, my dad is a starving artist [sort of starving, 100% artist; he is a musician and composer] and I swear to god he is a god damn genius. But he doesn't get paid nearly enough for it.

And it makes me angry that it took place in NYC. Maybe I'm just jealous [I love New York City], but it seems like starving and being gay is only acceptable and/or glamorous if you live there and live in an apartment. I don't know.

Lol! Broadway is totally my thing...or at least broadway when it was decent and actually theater and not cheap tricks and special affects (...although, to be fair, Wicked is so very, very pretty no mater how much it raped the book).

I grew up in NY, and spent a lot of time in NYC. I'm hoping to be spending my work study programs in college there (which is a 99.9% chance, lol). I agree...RENT definately makes it seem that way .
