Mmmyes, there is a band called Tool, and it's not exactly new.
In my opinion, Tool is one of the greatest bands ever.

Their name only sound funny if you've grown up with the word "tool" being an insult. I've always thought of "tool" as the band and an actual tool, like a hammer.
As for Tool's music, there are a lot of songs I don't like, but the ones I like, are great.
